Casino operator Rootz has reached an agreement with Gaming Innovation Group to make use of its GiG Comply compliance tool.

The firm’s compliance monitoring system scans over 30,000 web pages each day for various types of content including igaming code red words, links and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

In addition, the marketing compliance tool can be adapted to cover market-specific legislation and advertising standards, and allows operators to ensure that affiliates are aligned with the responsible gambing requirements of their brand.

Jonas Warrer, managing director of GiG Media, said: “We are happy to have partnered with Rootz and look forward to supporting them with their marketing compliance strategy.

“GiG Comply will help to ensure that Rootz remains proactive and will enable them to stay in control of their affiliate marketing, safeguarding their licence.”

The compliance system will help to ensure that Rootz, which includes flagship Wildz Casino as well as Caxing Casino in its portfolio, remains in control of its marketing campaigns.

This will allow the Malta-based firm to remain a step ahead when it comes to meeting regulation requirements and identifying potential breaches.

Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of Rootz, Matti Metsola, stated: “Rootz is pleased to add GiG Comply to the Compliance toolkit. Automation is a primary focus at Rootz, and GiG Comply fits our character perfectly. In an ever-evolving regulatory environment, we look forward to GiG Comply’s ability to flag vulnerable content quickly.”

Rootz is the latest gambling operator to utilise GiG Comply, following online firm LeoVegas, who made the move earlier this week.
LeoVegas said that the marketing compliance tool reflects its “commitment to responsible gaming,” with the operator strengthening its control over third-party advertising and further protecting its brands from being promoted on websites which are not compliant internationally.
