GeoComply has confirmed expansion into Tennessee following its landing of a Supplier Registration in a special meeting held by the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation.

The registration will enable sports betting operators in Tennessee to take advantage of  GeoComply’s geolocation compliance solutions as they elevate security within their online sports betting apps and websites.

Gabrielle Angle, Manager, Compliance and Legal Affairs at GeoComply, commented: “We are excited to be registered to service our clients and partners in Tennessee, a state that’s extremely passionate about sports. The GeoComply team is ready to support the deployment of online sports betting as quickly as the state can launch live operations.”

Since launching in 2011, GeoComply has grown its offering exponentially focusing on providing a trusted solution for reliable, secure and accurate geolocation services.

The firm currently supports regulated online casino, poker, sports betting, lottery, ADW and DFS operators in 44 US states to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

The company also recently enhanced its social responsibility offering with the launch of PlayPause, a new tool which is designed to modernise and strengthen the effectiveness of the iGaming and online sports betting industry’s responsible gaming programs.

Anna Sainsbury, GeoComply Chairman and Co-Founder, commented: “At GeoComply, we’re always looking for ways to leverage technology in a meaningful and responsible way.

“PlayPause is not only an important compliance tool, but a way we can unite the industry and regulators to deepen their shared commitment to responsible gaming and consumer protection.”

PlayPause provides an efficient way for operators to manage important aspects of their responsible gaming compliance requirements across multiple states.

The tool will be made available free-of-charge to operators via a newly established non-profit organisation, Conscious Gaming.
