TrueProfile.io, verification provider for professional documents, has announced it is expanding into identity verification with the launch of its new product.
Dubbed ‘TrueIdentity’ the service is powered by IDnow AutoIdent and utilises its facial recognition and AI technology capabilities to carry out the identity verification.
TrueProfile.io is part of the DataFlow Group which has been supporting authorities, governments and regulators with primary source verification (PSV), background checks and immigration compliance solutions since 2006.

Members of TrueProfile.io can access the new service immediately by downloading the ‘IDnow AutoIdent’ app then follow on-screen instructions to verify said document (such as a passport or ID card) before scanning their facial profile at different angles.
To align TrueIdentity with TrueProfile.io’s verification services, users will be provided with documentation of their verified identity, known as an ‘Identity TrueProof’.
