Payment solution provider Ingenico Group has officially launched its new initiative dubbed ‘TravelHub’.

TravelHub’s purpose is to connect travel companies with the firms end-to-end payment processing capabilities and regional gateways across Asia, Latin America and Europe.

The solutions enables travel firms to access Ingenico’s portfolio of over 150 payment methods along with alternative currency options to suit consumer demand.

It also offers smart transaction routing capabilities across all payment platforms to try improve conversion rates and increase revenue from online travel sales

Ingenico’s TravelHub offers a direct connection to global payment capabilities, as well as integration with airline global distribution systems (GDS), such as Amadeus, Sabre and Navitaire, and hotels’ property management systems (PMS). 

The firm expect this feature to help travel businesses “tackle the complexity” of overseeing multiple systems, payment service providers (PSPs) and acquirers.
