Provider of multi-currency IBAN accounts, ONPEX has announced a new partnership with international payments company and BIN sponsor Moorwand.
The move is part of an effort to expand and modernise Moorwand’s banking capabilities via its IBAN-based solutions.
Robert Courtneidge, CEO at Moorwand, commented: “We required a solution that could issue multi-currency IBAN accounts in our name and that of our clients. We partnered with ONPEX as its platform is easy to manage and has strong controls and parameters that provides our clients with a simple, value-added service.
“Additionally, we pride ourselves on bringing innovative programmes to market quickly and efficiently, and therefore needed a partner that could meet our requirements and offer greater choice for banks and programme managers.”
Moorwand expect integrating cloud-based local and cross-border payments and banking platform will help meet the increasing demand from its customers for additional banking solutions.
The firm will utilise ONPEX’ banking-as-a-service (BaaS) software to make physical and virtual cards bankable, enabling its clients to execute card payments worldwide.
The partnership with ONPEX will also allow Moorwand to extend its eWallet functionality with IBAN capabilities – including SEPA and SWIFT,.

The two companies revealed they are aiming to work together more this year to provide more services to its clients.
