Elavon and Société Générale partner for European payment services

Global payments provider Elavon, has agreed to a new partnership with French financial services group, Société Générale, for payments acceptance and acquiring services across Europe.

Société Générale’s clients will now have access to Elavon’s cross-border payment capabilities in the United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland.

A subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp, Elavon payments services include accepting electronic payments from payment cards, digital wallets, alternative payment methods and real-time bank transfer capabilities.

Colin Close, Country Manager, UK and International Corporate for Elavon Financial Services expressed the firms happiness in being chosen as Société Générale’s payments partner across Europe.

The company offers its payments solutions to international businesses across more than 30 countries in Europe.

Its omni-commerce payment solution offers businesses the ability to accept payments in any payment environment needed, including in-store, mobile, mail/telephone order and online.
